On May 19, 2026: a National seminar National Seminar on Hadith Research Concerns and Contemporary Challenges was conducted under the auspices of the Department of Hadith, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
